Alohe Burke, also known as Rami, is the eldest daughter of the Burke family and the original lead singer of the soul group the Five Stairsteps. In this interview, she shares her memories of growing up in Chicago, meeting Curtis Mayfield, touring with the Impressions and the Jackson Five, and leaving show business in 1972.
