Josh Silver (born November 14, [1] 1962) is an American musician who is the former keyboardist, producer and backing vocalist of gothic metal band Type O Negative. He joined the band at frontman Peter Steele's request. He played for Type O Negative until they disbanded due to Steele's death in 2010.
Type O Negative was an American gothic/doom metal band formed in Brooklyn, New York City in 1989 [1] [2] by Peter Steele (bass, lead vocals), Kenny Hickey (guitar, co-lead vocals), Josh Silver (keyboards, backing vocals), and Sal Abruscato (drums, percussion), who was later replaced by Johnny Kelly.
Josh Silver is a British author, former actor and mental health nurse. He is known for his dystopian YA fiction series HappyHead, which was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and optioned by Taron Egerton.

Josh Silver (born November 14, 1962) was a keyboardist for the now permanently defunct band Type O Negative. He also performed backing vocals, organ, synthesizer, samples and effects in select Type O songs. He helped Peter Steele to form the band after the breakup of Fallout and Original Sin.
