Acadie is the debut studio album by record producer and singer-songwriter Daniel Lanois, originally released in 1989 by Opal Records and Warner Bros. Records. It was largely written and recorded in the city of New Orleans. Lanois sings on it in both French and English, sometimes on the same track.

In England, Brian Eno recorded the haunting background vocals. Larry Mullen Jr., and Adam Clayton recorded their parts soon after that in Dublin. It was later finished and mixed in New Orleans.
