John Cody Carpenter (born May 7, 1984) is an American musician and composer. He is the son of film director John Carpenter and actress Adrienne Barbeau. Carpenter is mostly known for his work with his godfather and musician Daniel Davies, as well as his various solo projects.
Cody Carpenter is a third-generation musician and the son of director and composer John Carpenter. He has composed and performed music for several of his father's films, including the Halloween series, and won seven awards.

In 2019 Cody released an amazing album titled, “ Force Of Nature ” and in 2020 Mr. Carpenter followed up with his third dynamic Blue Canoe Release titled, “ Control ”. In 2021, Cody Carpenter delivered a high-energy instrumental progressive rock album titled, “ Memories and Dreams ”.
