Current 93 are an English experimental music group, working since the early 1980s in folk-based musical forms. The band was founded in 1982 by David Tibet, who has been Current 93's only constant member.
Current 93's 'Faust' is a bit of a return to form from a band that went off the rails for the best part of 10 years whilst dabbling in Neo-Folk. Similar to their first 'Aleister Crowley' recordings from the 80's, but this time it's softer but far, far clearer in sound and just as unsettling.
