Ptolemy XIII Theos Philopator (Greek: Πτολεμαῖος Θεός Φιλοπάτωρ, Ptolemaĩos; c. 62 BC – 13 January 47 BC) was Pharaoh of Egypt from 51 to 47 BC, and one of the last members of the Ptolemaic dynasty (305–30 BC). He was the son of Ptolemy XII and the brother of and co-ruler with Cleopatra VII.

Ptolemy XIII Theos Philopator (born 62/61—died 47 bc, near Alexandria) was a Macedonian king of Egypt and coruler with his famous sister, Cleopatra VII. He was killed while leading the Ptolemaic army against Julius Caesar’s forces in the final stages of the Alexandrian War.

Ptolomeu XIII foi responsável por muitas mudanças importantes no Egito durante seu reinado. Ele construiu templos, estradas e canais, lutou contra o exército romano liderado por Júlio César, e liderou a defesa do Egito na Guerra dos Dias Nacionais.
O Reino Ptolemaico foi fundado em 305 a.C. por Ptolemeu I Sóter, que se declarou Faraó do Egito e criou uma poderosa dinastia grega helenística que governou uma área que ia desde o sul da Síria até a cidade de Cirene e sul do Egito, na região da Núbia. Foi um período de forte influência grega naquela região.
