  1. Mary Ansell (1 March 1861 – 30 June 1950) was an English actress and author. She was born in Paddington (London), the third child of George and Mary Ansell, who ran and lived over the King's Head pub in Paddington. Ansell's father died in 1875 and the family moved to Hastings, in Sussex.
