Academia de Arte e Design - Bezalel é a academia nacional de Arte e Design de Israel. Ele está localizado no Monte Scopus em Jerusalém, com algumas outras pequenas campi em Jerusalém e Tel Aviv. O nome vem de Bezalel ben Uri, que, na Bíblia, é o artífice que confeccionou os utensílios do Tabernáculo.
17 de fev. de 2019 · O novo campus da Academia Bezalel de Artes e Design em Jerusalém, projetado pelo escritório japonês SANAA, tem nova data de inauguração. Inicialmente proposto em 2013, o projeto para a escola de arte nacional de Israel teve início em 2015 e será inaugurado, segundo as previsões, em 2022.

The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design is known for its outstanding program and fine artists. The name Bezalel comes from the Bible (Exodus 35:30); Bezalel, son of Uri, was appointed to oversee the construction of the Tabernacle. The school was founded on January 18, 1906, by Boris Schatz, who shaped the character of the Academy.
