History | St Philip’s College. In 1945 the Reverend Harry Griffiths, who worked for the Methodist Inland Mission in Alice Springs, saw the need for a boarding facility for children of families living in remote areas in Central Australia who needed access to schools.
St Philip's Christian College Cessnock exists to grow and develop young people into innovative, confident learners and responsible, respectful and compassionate world citizens. As a College we seek to build a partnership between students, parents and our wider community.
