George Fitzmaurice (13 February 1885 – 13 June 1940) was a French-born film director and producer.

George Fitzmaurice, Ph.D. is a Research Fellow and heads the Human Computer Interaction and Visualization Research group. In collaboration with his colleagues he has co-authored and published over 120 research papers and been awarded over 95 patents.
