Five Go Down To The Sea is the twelfth novel in The Famous Five series by Enid Blyton. It was first published in 1953. Plot. Siblings Julian, Dick and Anne Kirrin, and their cousin Georgina 'George' Kirrin and her dog, Timmy, spend a holiday at a coastal farm in Cornwall.

They go to visit Grandad and hear about the wrecker’s way and have a run in with Mr Penruthlan. They investigate the old ruin, get trapped underground then return to Tremannon to solve the mystery.

Five Go Down to the Sea? were an Irish post-punk band from Cork, active between 1978 and 1989. Vocalist and lyricist Finbarr Donnelly, guitarist Ricky Dineen and brothers Philip (bass) and Keith "Smelly" O'Connell (drums) formed the band as Nun Attax while teenagers.
