3 de nov. de 2023 · New (ish) with Mikrotik and experimenting with several LHGs and a LHGG. The LHGs (latest Router OS and LTE firmware) randomly seem to lose connection to Winbox (ironically still ping and route to internet on the same client device), then don't even appear in the Neighbourhood scan. This can be resolved by resetting to defaults and re-config but ...

26 de abr. de 2024 · I set up sslvpn on the fortigate firewall and tried to access a Mikrotik site through winbox and the connection was denied. To test, I added the current IP of my laptop and also tried removing it. No change. /ip firewall filter. add action=accept chain=input comment="Allow access to Mikrotik" dst-port=8291 \. protocol=tcp.
15 de abr. de 2016 · When it connects, most of the time existing session windows are empty. 3. When it's connected, opening a new terminal window returns nothing. 4. Random winbox disconnects. 5. High weird network latencys. 6. Some WebPages (not Google) take a lot of time to open, and most of the time they don't open completely.

While it would be nice to have dark mode (I don't care though), the question why are certain users nagging about it with every new winbox version is highly relevant. Release threads in this forum (such as this) should be used to report bugs (possibly specific to the particular version).

21 de mai. de 2009 · WinBox for for instance also fails on my 15 inch 1920x1200 and 1600x1200 screens. Yes, those screens have been available for a long time (for instance ThinkPad A20p around 2000, T61p around 2005, etc) and are still in use. It is even too small on a 30" Iiyama PL3070WQ at 2560x1600 and fails miserably at my Retina MacBook at 2880x1620.
