10 de abr. de 2016 · Mc Guinness staged a procession collaborating with island children, festival goers and islanders to celebrate St Gobnait, the patron saint of the honey bee who is believed to have taken refuge on the island in the 8th century and where a tiny church (the smallest in Ireland) still remains.
11 de jul. de 2017 · The Well. ‘The Well’ is a 3 screen video installation. In 2016 Mc Guinness devised a live, public, performance intervention at St Patricks Well inspired by the story of Bridget Cleary a suspected witch who was burned alive by her husband in 1897.
23 de out. de 2019 · Before the last sun sets. In June 2019 on the longest day of the year, a participatory performance event was held in Lough Key Forest Park, Roscommon. Commissioned by Roscommon Art Centre as part of The Park Project curated by Linda Shevlin and supported by Fingal Arts office.
14 de mar. de 2018 · The Central Field project was a temporary live land artwork by artist duo Yvonne Mc Guinness and Rhona Byrne commissioned by South County Dublin ‘In Context’ art programme.
7 de set. de 2023 · McGuinness forged new relationships, the bedrock of her practice, and developed two new film works with them. In ‘Priory’ the artist uses the ruin of Callan Augustinian Priory to stage rehearsals, creating a multi-layered, filmic, almost hologrammatic atmosphere.
8 de jul. de 2016 · Mc Guinness was commissioned by Clonmel Junction Festival to create a work that responded to the story of Bridget Cleary a woman suspected to be a changling and burned alive by her husband outside Clonmel 1896.
1 de set. de 2019 · Ground Songs. For her solo show at Illuminations Gallery curated by Aoife Tunney, Yvonne McGuinness presented The Well (2017), a multi-screen film installation and Borders (2019) a series of photographic collages.
