10 de out. de 2020 · YYH is more "basic", but easier to follow and actually ended. So I guess I'd say HxH speaks to me more for a lot of reasons but YYH is a stronger product. By now HxH is like twice as long as Yu Yu Hakusho, so I don't find YYH having an ending all that compelling an argument.

Hunter x Hunter ultimately becomes more about Gon and Killua before long with Kurapika and Leorio becoming guest party members at best, and then finally focused on Killua specifically.

Maybe it's because most people aren't familiar with the manga only Three Kings travesty of an arc. In terms of characters and writing Hunter X Hunter blows Yu Yu Hakusho completely out of the water. Or because Yu Yu is the better series.
7 de nov. de 2022 · Yu Yu Hakusho in every way and I don't care for the post-Dark Tournament stuff. I gave Saint Seiya a shot when it was on Toonami or Adult Swim and could not get into it, which didn't start well with that cover of I Ran So far by Bowling For Soup to open every episode.

Feels like they could do the whole story in four seasons, give or take. Season 1: Spirit Detective Arc. Season 2: Dark Tournament.
22 de abr. de 2019 · The YuYu Hakusho anime and manga are basically a 1:1 but starts to split a bit post Sensui. The Anime gives a more indepth look at the tournament while the manga skips a lot and gives you a summary of what happened at the tournament. The thing I don't like about the anime is post the tournament ending.

15 de nov. de 2020 · Yu Yu Hakusho So doing some lazy Google research, I wanted to see what people prefer: subbed or dubbed. I was surprised to learn that Yu Yu's dub is highly celebrated with the YYH sub answering this question almost unanimously "watch the dub". Some websites even included it with Cowboy Bebop and Steins;Gate as anime with a nearly superior dub.
9 de jul. de 2020 · Dragon Ball Z’s English dub is far more beloved, I’d think. There's a lot of detractors just on the soundtrack alone on DBZ. Yu Yu Hakusho (or Cowboy Bebop as mentioned) are way more generally liked. KujoJosuke said: Only show I watch dubbed is Ranma and that's before Richard Cox takes over as male Ranma. Hell yeah.
