IIRC the default ROS config for CRS309 has the RJ45 as a standalone interface. Yes, I can get into one or the other after resetting the switch, and setting the addresses, but when I'm in one, and try to boot to the other, I'm locked out of the switch again. Pick one and stick with it. ROS has L3 HW acceleration for CRS309 now so its a solid choice.

CRS309 will only route at 3g that's the speed of the cpu to switch chip. It sounds like you don't have L3 offload configured correctly as you can get about 80g if you did.
