Now I am confused on how the heck I was doing it. It was working... but I can't figure out how to recreate the missing pieces.

I used Winbox System -> RouterBoard -> Upgrade button and reboot again. Now I have a workable CRS328-24P-4S+RM at the laterst RouterOS: [admin@MikroTik] > system/routerboard/print. routerboard: yes.

    The problem: I want my router to have only one ethernet port pass straight through (with port forwarding, eg. for running a small web or game server) and rest of the ethernet ports and WIFI go through a wireguard VPN.
