Eli Capilouto (born August 22, 1949) is an American academic. He serves as the 12th president of the University of Kentucky. He was elected president by the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees in 2011, after serving as provost of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Eli Capilouto (born August 22, 1949 in Montgomery) is the President of the University of Kentucky and former Provost of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before being named provost permanently in 2005, he served as the acting provost since 2002.
