Sonic.EXE (Sonic.EXE - The Game) This incarnation of the character was, by technicality of him being divided from the original canon, the first EXE variant to ever be created. He is the main antagonist of the Sonic.EXE fan games made by MY5TCrimson that made EXE popular and gave him the status he has now as a horror legend.
X, better known as Sonic.exe (sometimes stylized as Sonic.EXE), is the titular main antagonist of the infamous Creepypasta of the same name and its sequel Round 2. He is an anomalous, interdimensional energy-based entity driven by an instinctive lust for destruction and pain.
Sonic.exe originated as a Creepypasta fanfic by Jack Cranely (also known as Sir JC the Hyena) that can be read here. Since then, it has been turned into a video game that replicates the experience (sans X actually coming out of the screen) by MY5TCrimson.
