If it takes 1x, that is all you need. So, on an R5, if the subject is around 48mm tall, 0.5x will suffice. 24mm, and 1x is enough. 12mm would need 2x to fill the frame.

Bearing in mind that I paid £170 for a Sabrent 512GB card and that for slightly less money I can build a 1TB card it seems very tempting. Has anyone here done this?
