[8] The core R language is augmented by a large number of extension packages, containing reusable code, documentation, and sample data. R software is open-source and free software.
Step 1 – Install R. Download the R installer here – Download R. Run the installer. Default settings are fine. If you do not have admin rights on your laptop, then ask you local IT support. In that case, it is important that you also ask them to give you full permissions to the R directories.

I got the version from a disc but my new pc doesn't have a cd drive : ( Tried out 1.5 and 1.13 which were both available for download on an faq article on Clip Studio's website but the layouts were too different. I've gotten to the point I'm considering buying an external cd drive just to get that version back.
