Há 3 dias · Jean-Louis Lebris de Kérouac, known as Jack Kerouac, was a novelist and poet of French-Canadian ancestry. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1922 and spent much of his life there. Kerouac’s first novel The Town and the City was published in 1950, gaining widespread acclaim.

Americana- my all time favourite book is on the road by jack Kerouac. Semi autobiographical but reads like fiction. Great story about the beat generation and a great adventure story in general. Additionally, The Road by Cormac McCarthy is a classic for a reason- weird writing style but once you get into it it’s quite “snackable” and short.
