  7. Americana- my all time favourite book is on the road by jack Kerouac. Semi autobiographical but reads like fiction. Great story about the beat generation and a great adventure story in general. Additionally, The Road by Cormac McCarthy is a classic for a reason- weird writing style but once you get into it it’s quite “snackable” and short.
