  7. Há 5 dias · Answer: Thomas J. Rusk I am Thomas Jefferson Rusk (1803-1857). I was born in South Carolina and lived in Nacogdoches where Richard (rwminix, author) lives. Of course it was a lot smaller when I was there while serving in the U.S. Senate. Why they named the university in Nacogdoches after Austin and not me I will never know!
