Há 3 dias · The Old Grammar School was originally a chapel built about 1190 - 1230. In 1701 the chapel was turned into a school with a new extension added to accommodate the buildings new function. Thomas Castley was master of the school from 1757 - 1817.

Há 3 dias · You can’t miss the great fort overshadowing Drogheda town. Inside the complex is the Drogheda Museum Millmount and the Martello Tower. It provides wonderful views of the surrounding area. The town of Drogheda is over 800 years old and the fort is in the Millmount Cultural Quarter.
