David Douillet, né le 17 février 1969 à Rouen (Seine-Maritime), est un judoka et homme politique français. Il est l'un des judokas français les plus titrés de l'histoire. Il évoluait dans la catégorie des « poids lourd », la plus massive en judo [ Note 2 ] .
David Douillet was a candidate for the UMP center-right political party in the by-election of 11 and 18 October 2009 in the 12th constituency of the Yvelines department. He won 52,10% of the ballots cast and was elected member of the National Assembly .

28 de set. de 2020 · Exactly 20 years ago, on the tatami of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour, judoka David Douillet, the flagbearer for the French team, retained his Olympic heavyweight title.
At the 2000 Sydney Games, Douillet again won the gold medal, this time with a controversial victory in the final over Shinichi Shinohara. Having also won the World Championship four times, Douillet is one of the most decorated judokas of all time.
