He manufactured the first batch of Alexander Henry rifles in 1871 for the NSW military, and also made a version of the .310 Martini Cadet in the early 1900's for school cadets. I didn't realise he also made sights for Enfields.
Há 2 dias · It has working ejectors and is chambered for 2 3/4” shells. It shoots delightfully with 1oz light target loads. It has a wood stock extension that crawls it into a 15.75” LOP, could be easily removed for a rubber pad. 28” barrels choked mod/skeet. 1 5/8” on the comb and 2” on the heel. The bores are good as well as the mechanicals.
Há 3 dias · Up for sale is a Westley Richards Martini in 303 British.It has a 27" barrel 14.5" LOP and weighs 7.25 lb.It is in nice shape as the pics will show.The bore is very good.The only faults I can find with this rifle is that over the years someone replaced the sights and the barrel has been recrowned at some point.The price is $1850 shipped.If ...
