He is best known for producing movies like Jaws of Satan (1981), Torchlight (1984), It Runs in the Family (2003), etc. Moreover, he has also gained massive media fame as the son of late veteran actor Kirk Douglas. Joel was born in Los Angeles, California, on 23 January 1947.

Like his brother Joel, Peter became a producer and worked on projects such as “Fletch,” “A Tiger’s Tale,” and “Whip It.”.
