Read more. "P.S. I Love You" is a song composed principally by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon-McCartney) and recorded by the Beatles. It was released on 5 October 1962 as the B-side of their debut single "Love Me Do" and is also included on their 1963 album Please Please Me. It was later included on the Beatles compilation Love Songs.

The Beatles recorded ten takes of P.S. I Love You on September 11, 1962 with Andy White on drums. Just like with Love Me Do, recorded during the same sessions, Andy White had been booked by producer George Martin, who was dissatisfied with the recently-fired Pete Best as well as the new (and under-rehearsed) Ringo Starr.
