I think Trogs were created because king Trog fell in love with an Elf and their children were cursed to be Trogs. I think the curse likely has something to do with Zog's lineage being a part of seizing Dreamland. Several years later Zog falls in love with a mermaid and has kids with her, resulting in the sea trogs. true.
