28 de mar. de 2014 · Claire Clairmont was the archetypal Romantic woman, far more than her more famous step-sister, Mary Shelley. She was born, probably illegitimately, to a Mary Jane Deveraux, who happened to move to London close to the residence of one William Godwin, who was at that moment mourning the sudden death of his new wife, Mary Wollstonecraft, in childbirth.
