The 2024 Burns Fellows will be announced on Monday, April 1, 2024. The Arthur F. Burns Fellowship, ICFJ’s longest-running program, provides young and experienced journalists with the opportunity to participate in an exchange program and work for prestigious media outlets in both Germany and the United States.
16 de ago. de 2017 · The Arthur F. Burns Fellowship Program was established in 1988 in Germany by the Internationale Journalisten-Programme and was originally designed for young German journalists. In 1990, the fellowship expanded to include American journalists, making it a true exchange program. In 2013 it expanded to include Canadian journalists.

Arthur F. Burns. April 27, 1904 - Born in Stanislau, Austria. The Burns family immigrated to the United States when Burns was 10 years old, settling in Bayonne, New Jersey. 1925 - Received A.B. and A.M. degrees in economics from Columbia University. 1926-27 - Lecturer in economics at Columbia. 1927-44 - Economics instructor at Rutgers University.
Abstract: Arthur F. Burns served as Counselor to the President. He was given broad responsibility in program and policy development for the Nixon Administration. Although his primary role was in development of domestic programs, he did venture into international matters in some economic programs.
