Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he began writing songs around the age of eleven. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play No. 5 Collaborations Project.

Quem é Ed Sheeran? Edward Christopher Sheeran nasceu no dia 17 de fevereiro de 1991 em Hebden Bridge, perto de Halifax, na Inglaterra. O sangue artístico vem de família: o pai de Ed é curador de arte e a mãe é publicitária e designer de jóias. O irmão mais velho do cantor, Matthew Sheeran, é compositor de música clássica.
