Planet of Giants is the first serial of the second season in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Written by Louis Marks and directed by Mervyn Pinfield and Douglas Camfield , the serial was first broadcast on BBC1 in three weekly parts from 31 October to 14 November 1964.

The First Doctor Ranked. Watched on Britbox/DVD with the reconstructions of the original episodes 3+4 on 19th May 2023 as part of Hartnellthon, a marathon of early-to-mid 1960s Doctor Who. How fitting that I watch the miniscule episode of Doctor Who the same day I’m about to see Quantumania (expect my thoughts on that to drop this weekend!).
