Following the coming-of-age drama Hurricane Streets, Sexton reunited with director Morgan J. Freeman for the kooky independent comedy Desert Blue. Set in a dusty California town yet oddly populated largely by East Coast-accented residents, the film focuses on a group of teens who are frustrated by a local quarantine caused by a factory truck's chemical spill.
