And she plays great opposite Mary Astor. George Brent was there and reliable. I liked the way Max Steiner incorporated classical music into the score. The only real demerit I see is the abrupt switch they have at the end regarding what the resolution to the titular lie will be. Overall, an adequate melodrama with solid work by all involved.
