Navanethem "Navi" Pillay (born 23 September 1941) is a South African jurist who served as the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2008 to 2014. A South African of Indian Tamil origin, Pillay was the first non-white woman judge of the High Court of South Africa.
Navanethem Pillay, em língua tâmil, நவநீதம் பிள்ளை, também conhecida como Navi Pillay (Durban, 23 de setembro de 1941) é uma jurista sul-africana, de origem indiana, que serviu, de 2008 a 2014, como Alta Comissária das Nações Unidas para Direitos Humanos.
Idealizadora e organizadora de grupos de apoio e acompanhamento pela garantia de direito das mulheres, fundou o grupo internacional de advocacia Equality Now (Igualdade Já). Em 1995, um ano após o início do processo de democratização da África do Sul, Pillay foi indicada para ser Juíza da Suprema Corte do seu país.
