Dan is Head of Academic Studies at BIMM Music Institute Brighton. He is a bass guitarist and double bass player with a wealth of experience including world tours, major festivals, multiple recording and songwriting credits, and TV and radio appearances.
Our rhythm section Dan Mckinna and Earl Harvin are storming in this score. Respect to percussionist David Pattman and organist Ross Stanley for their contributions. The first time that David has played with us since the score for ‘Trouble every day’ in 2001!
Band members Stuart Staples and Dan McKinna composed the accompanying orchestral soundscape to the Belgian In Flanders Fields Museum. The six-part work, played on a continuous loop in varying sections of the museum was released as the Tindersticks album Ypres in 2014.
