Fairfax High School is a fully accredited high school based on the Standards of Learning (SOL) tests in Virginia. FHS is performing above the state median on all SOL assessments including 91% in Reading, 88% in writing, 79% in math, and 79% in science. This school is about the same as the state average in key measures of college and career readiness, but depending on the state, average can mean only a minority of students are ready for college and career. (Remember: high graduation rates don't mean much if students are graduating without the coursework and test scores they need to succeed.)

21 de mai. de 2024 · Fairfax High School has seen many fights between students and the disciplinary action that the school takes onto the students seems inadequate to what it should have been. I see this as a negative because this shows that the school seems to not care as much about the students nor the consequences that the student deserves.
