Claremont McKenna College ( CMC) is a private liberal arts college in Claremont, California. It has a curricular emphasis on government, economics, public affairs, finance, and international relations. CMC is a member of the Claremont Colleges consortium. Founded as a men's college in 1946, CMC became coeducational in 1976.

Claremont McKenna participates in a five-College collaboration that allows students to take advantage of a broad range of courses, facilities, and opportunities in the study of environmental issues.
