12 de out. de 2009 · The memoir ends at the end of the Civil War so there's nothing about Grant's very interesting later life. Otherwise this is a gem of American literature. It's the best memoir I've ever read. You get everything from Grant's thoughts on bullfighting to the Civil War. When reading this I began to realize how underrated Grant is as a general.
