There is little available information regarding incidence, risk factors, prognostic factors, treatment, and overall survival (OS). In this systematic review we performed a research of the current literature and exposed an average incidence of 2.10%.

Although brain metastases from colorectal cancer are unusual, an increase in incidence has been observed. Previous studies evaluating this population are old and have small sample sizes, but systemic therapy has improved.
