At Clare College, Cambridge you’ll have the option to study for the entire Academic Year only. Academics At Cambridge, students are educated in the supervision system, generally consisting of weekly or biweekly tutorial sessions of one to three students and one tutor.

The new River Wing, as it is called, is part of a larger, £42m transformation of the college. The wing provides a new waterside cafe, where Clare’s junior and senior members can mix.
9 de mai. de 2024 · Clare Hall was founded specifically for researchers and postgraduate students, who are at the centre of our community along with visiting scholars, Fellows, postdoctoral affiliates, and our staff. The College is in part modelled on the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, envisaged as such from its foundation by Clare College in 1966.
The Secret Histories workshops will take place on Wednesday evenings at 5-6pm. The series began on Wednesday 17th April and will conclude on Wednesday 5th June. While it is not compulsory to attend every session, we encourage you to attend as many sessions as you can, including the workshops on topics you haven't come across before.
Erskine’s Clare Hall buildings form a skyline of striking triangular profiles, not overwhelming the environment but rather inscribing nature into residents’ daily lives. The College sits in peaceful surroundings to the west of Cambridge, just off Herschel Road, consisting of two sites, the main college buildings and West Court.
I cannot imagine a more fruitful sabbatical environment than Clare Hall. Everyday life is perfectly arranged, and enables the Visiting Fellow to concentrate 100% on work, but on top of the 100%, college life offers a lovely intellectual community and support, from great meals and housing to a rowing club, choir, concerts and stimulating discussions.
