While preparing for tour in 2022, Demi Lovato was faced with a conundrum: How were they going to blend their old pop and R&B hits with their new, rockier releases like “SWINE”? Lovato had been singing some of those songs for 15 years, and they had long since evolved as an artist, so they started performing new arrangements with more of a pop-punk sound.
