Chicago Vocational High School (also known as Chicago Vocational Career Academy and locally known as CVCA or CVS) is a public 4–year vocational high school located in the Avalon Park neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opened in 1941, the school is operated by the Chicago Public Schools district.

The school is named after Albert G. Lane, a former principal and superintendent of Chicago Public Schools from 1891 until 1898.It was founded in 1908 and dedicated on Washington's Birthday in 1909, as the Albert Grannis Lane Manual Training High School. [11]
