The Royal Military College ( RMC ), founded in 1801 and established in 1802 at Great Marlow and High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, England, but moved in October 1812 to Sandhurst, Berkshire, was a British Army military academy for training infantry and cavalry officers of the British and Indian Armies.

  7. The Royal Memorial Chapel was originally designed in 1879 by the Royal Engineers in a style copied from a church in Florence. It was constructed mainly in red brick, with terracotta moulding, large interlocking pediment copies and massive corbels and was known as the Royal Military College Chapel of Christ Church .
