The Governing Body of Worcester College is delighted to announce that it has elected a new Provost. David Isaac will take up the post on 1st July 2021. David is currently Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, a senior partner at the law firm, Pinsent Masons, and Chair of Governors at the University of the Arts London.

Worcester College is the only Oxford college to have its own sports grounds on campus. They include a gym, tennis courts, sports fields, and boat house on the Thames. Campus itself has all sorts of places to recharge, including 26 acres of gardens, a lake, and an orchard of fruit trees.

After attending King Henry VIII Grammar School in Abergavenny, which became a comprehensive when he was in the third form, David went on to read Law at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He undertook postgraduate studies in Socio-Legal studies at Wolfson College, Oxford, before qualifying as a solicitor.
