The Undiscovered group consists of 67 Pokémon, most being Legendary Pokémon or Baby Pokémon. The Pokémon in this egg group are almost all Legendary Pokémon and Baby Pokémon, with few exceptions. This group is probably there to stop the cloning of legendary Pokémon, which might give players an unfair advantage.
The Undiscovered Egg Group is one of the fifteen Egg Groups. This Egg Group contains 42 Pokémon. Despite being an Egg Group, none of these Pokémon can breed with any other members of this group.
It is to note, that most Pokémon retain their Egg Groups throughout their evolutionary lines. However, some Pokémon are known to either change their Egg Groups during the maturity process (baby Pokémon) or lose the ability to reproduce. Losing the ability to breed is usually accompanied by switching to the Undiscovered Egg Group (such as Nidorina and Nidoqueen ).

6 de mar. de 2024 · It is possible for Pokémon not normally found inside Eggs to be inside of this Egg, such as evolved Pokémon, but Legendary Pokémon cannot normally hatch out of these Eggs. Pokémon in the Undiscovered Egg Group cannot breed with any Pokémon, including Ditto and other Pokémon in the Undiscovered Egg Group.
