Since getting our hands on that wood is out of the question, there's only one thing to do - destroy it! The goblin at the end of the dock here has some torpedoes all ready to go. He's got all the fuel for them on the docked goblin ship to the north. Get some fuel, then commandeer one of the torpedoes and ride it into their ship.
OK - So I got the rocket fuel - hopped on the rocket and crashed into an iceberg. Repeat about 4x. Then, on the 5th time, I get my rocket fuel and horde has taken control of the base. Can't do the quest because there are no alli to be found who can retake the base. This was very frustrating.
