2 de set. de 2017 · Reasons to eat at the Oban Seafood Hut - Not only was the seafood just right - fresh, sweet, with a taste of the sea, it was also value-for-money. The very experience of having a standing seafood meal right next to the pier drew in plenty of envious on-lookers who asked us for our reviews, as we slurped down the fresh oysters from their shells.
Oban “Seafood Capital of Scotland” Oban certainly lives up to its title with an excellent array of restaurants, cafes, bars and traditional pubs. Renowned for its wildlife and great outdoors, there is an abundance of deer, dolphins, seals, whales, otters, sea eagles, and porpoise, together with world class walking, kayaking, sailing, diving, cycling, fishing and golf.

Fishing remains a key industry in the Oban area so it’s the perfect place to sample the fresh seafood. The first port of call has to be the Green Seafood Hut, located next to the Calmac Ferry Terminal.
