Time. 5pm. A traditional candlelit service of carols and readings for the season of Christmas sung by the world-famous Choir of Magdalen College, Oxford. The services are held in Magdalen’s ancient and beautiful chapel, and both services on 9th & 10th December are identical, featuring old and new carols and traditional Christmas readings.

Magdalen chemists typically excel in University examinations. In the academic year 2022-2023 six of our first year students were awarded distinctions; including one who scored the highest mark in the University in Physical Chemistry. All five of our second year students achieved 1st class in every paper, a spectacular result for the cohort.
