From 13-18 November the RAF Museum Cosford will stage its annual Michael Beetham Conservation Centre Open Week, which this year will give visitors the first opportunity to see the almost completed nose section of Handley Page Hampden TBI P1344.
St Michael & All Angels Beetham is open for public worship each Sunday for the Morning Eucharist at 11am and Evensong at 6pm. Our church is open daily from 9.30am to 5pm. The church continues to cost over £1,000 per week to keep open and we would be grateful if you would take the time to look at the details of our Generosity Week below.
Beetham Church is a Grade 1 listed building. The base of the church tower is of Saxon origin, when the church was thought to have been dedicated to St Lioba. Beetham is a village and civil parish in the South Lakeland district, in Cumbria, England, situated on the border with Lancashire, 6 miles (10 km) north of Carnforth. [2] It is part of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In the 2001 census the parish had a population of 1,724, [3] increasing at the 2011 census to 1,784.
